Directions:
If coming by car, take the exit
for Firenze Sud and then for Viale Europa and follow signs for Piazzale
Michelangelo. Upon reaching Lungarno del Tempio you should see the
Grand Hotel Mediterraneo on the left. The hotel is on the northern
bank of the river Arno. The Interactive Map of Florence
above also features a route-planning facility with more specific
instructions.
If arriving by air, a taxi from
Amerigo Vespucci (Florence International) Airport should take about
half an hour and cost no more than about €25 – it’s
a good idea to establish the price before you depart however. Our
address is Lungarno del Tempio, 42-44.
By public transport, take one of
the many links from the airport to Santa Maria Novella Train Station,
then the number 14 bus, which costs €1 for a standard ticket.
Get off at Lungarno del Tempio, the hotel is about 100m from the
bus stop.
